Microphone access

The tuner uses your device microphone solely to detect the pitch of the notes you play. All audio processing happens locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers or anyone else. Microphone access stops the moment you press Stop or leave the page, and you can revoke the permission at any time in your browser settings.

Data we collect

We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertising that keeps the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
